BLOCX. has announced the launch of a new integrated platform to streamline and secure digital experience. By consolidating multiple essential services into a single ecosystem, BLOCX. aims to eliminate the need for multiple software solutions.

BLOCX product suite includes:

  • B. Desktop: All-in-One Computer Manager
  • B.TXT: 100% Decentralized Messenger
  • B. Marketplace: Distributed Computing Marketplace
  • B. Guard: All-in-One Mobile Suite

Products

B. Desktop (All-in-One Computer Manager) The backbone and main product of BLOCX. is the all-in-one computer manager. It has everything one might desire. BLOCX. stands for decentralization, and their ecosystem is built on this principle. All user tools are accessible via your non-custodial wallet. B. Desktop is available for download for Windows already now, with the full suite to be delivered within 2024. The good news is most of the features are already available and completely free to use.

B. Desktop features:

Malware Protection – Device Health – Internet Services) – AI Assistant – Marketplace – Remote Access – Password Vault – Non-Custodial Wallet

B.TXT (100% Decentralized Messenger) B.TXT is the newest addition to the BLOCX. family. A true decentralized messenger without a central authority, unlike other messaging platforms, it is more than end-to-end encrypted. As a first of its kind, masternodes serve as a layer of connection between users, after which they disappear, ensuring that communication is truly person-to-person and that your data and privacy remain yours only.

With the web version already available, BLOCX. plans to introduce a full mobile suite in the upcoming two months.

B.TXT features:

SHA256-bit Secure Encryption – AXE & SEA Protocol – Wallet Connect – Send Crypto – Chat, Voice & Video Call – Text to Voice – Message Translations – Swap Currencies

B. Marketplace (Distributed Computing Marketplace) BLOCX. Marketplace is built for everyone, ensuring that even people with non-technical knowledge can easily rent out or rent computing power. BLOCX. will be implementing a bridge with nuco.cloud, allowing users to rent out their computing power in two places at the same time while maximizing their profits all in one place.

B. Marketplace features:

Rendering – Storage Rental – Custom Docker – Machine Learning – Computing Power

B. Guard (All-in-One Mobile Suite) As an extension of B. Desktop, BLOCX. will be introducing B. Guard for mobile devices by the end of 2024. B. Guard includes everything you might need for your mobile device:

B. Guard features:

Malware Protection – System Optimizer and Mobile Booster – Password Vault – Remote Access – VPN – Safe Browser – Crypto Wallet

Why BLOCX. and Why NOW?

BLOCX. has some exciting plans within this short timeframe.

As a Proof-of-Work currency, BLOCX is going to switch its algorithm from X11 to Autolykos2, becoming ASIC-resistant and GPU-minable only. Autolykos2 is currently used by ERGO, making BLOCX the second blockchain ever to use this hashing algorithm. This switch is happening for two reasons:

Decentralization – Changing the algorithm to ASIC-resistant ensures decentralization. This means everyone with a good GPU can mine the currency efficiently at home, thereby promoting growth of the network. It also prevents the centralization that occurs with ASIC mining, which can be controlled by a few.

Marketplace Release – On July 10, BLOCX will be releasing B. Marketplace, one of its most exciting products yet. On the marketplace, users can rent out their computing power for various activities such as rendering, machine learning, general computing, or custom Docker images. This is another crucial reason for changing the algorithm to ASIC-resistant and GPU-minable.

B. Marketplace: The Next Big Thing Around the Corner?

Nowadays, available marketplaces require some technical knowledge. BLOCX. differentiates itself right from the start by offering two methods for adding machines, so even users without any prior technical knowledge rent out their machines.

It’s a first of its kind.

  • Method 1 — Automated Machine Adding Easy to use and requires no technical knowledge. Click ‘Add Machine,’ download the client, and follow the steps. The client will automatically detect all the hardware and list it on the marketplace, leaving the user only to set the pricing and availability period.
  • Method 2 — Headless Machine or Manual Adding For a more advanced setup for non-graphical machines, the user will need to download dependencies from within the terminal and then manually add the machine using guided commands.

Pretty great, right? That’s not all.

BLOCX. has considered instances that might accidentally change their IP during the rental period. Client detects this and automatically updates the IP within the marketplace ensuring the device remains listed and operates as it should.

Bridge with Other Marketplaces?

The next step is bridging the marketplace with Nuco.Cloud. This will allow users not only to rent out devices on our marketplace but also to leverage them on Nuco.Cloud directly from within one marketplace, maximizing your earning potential.
